Crystals have always been considered unusual and powerful items, and they have many roles in modern spiritual life.

They can be used to represent the Earth element for your altar, direct or store your personal energy or energy you draw from other sources, serve as a focus for meditation or scrying, and much more.

Many believe that each type of crystal has a vibration associated with it that can be used to help 'tune up' your own physical body. They are also thought to have affinities for particular types of spellwork; some stones are recommended for drawing love to you, or prosperity, for instance.

And of course, they're quite beautiful, which is a kind of power in its own right.
